India also played the Boxing Day Test during the tours of these two countries, in which some special records of theirs have not been seen till now. Team India has played a total of 16 Boxing-Day Tests, the first of which was in the year 1985. The Indian team has won the Boxing-Day Test match 4 times, while they had to face defeat in 10 and 2 matches ended in a draw.
