South Africa defeated India by 3 wickets in the second T20 and leveled the series 1-1. Chasing the target of 125 runs, the team scored 125 runs for 7 wickets in 19 overs. Tristan Stubbs (47) and Gerald Cootji (19) led the team to victory. India's Varun Chakraborty took 5 wickets.

IND vs SA: South Africa defeated India by 3 wickets in the second T20. In front of the target of 125 runs, the team had lost 7 wickets for 88 runs in 16 overs at one time. From here, Tristan Stubbs and Gerald Cootjee scored 37 runs in 18 balls to give the team victory. With this, the series of 4 T20 is tied at 1-1.

South Africa won the toss and chose bowling at St. George Park Stadium in Kebera. After a bad start, India scored 124 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Hardik Pandya scored 39 runs. South Africa achieved the target by losing 7 wickets in 19 overs. Tristan Stubbs scored 47 and Gerald Cootjee scored 19 runs. Varun Chakraborty from India took 5 wickets for 17 runs.

Target of 125 runs in front of South Africa

India has set a target of 125 runs in front of South Africa in the second T20 match. South Africa captain Aiden Markram won the toss and decided to bowl first and his bowlers gave India early setbacks and prevented the Indian batsmen from scoring a huge score. For India, all-rounder Hardik Pandya scored the highest unbeaten 39 runs with the help of four fours and a six in 45 balls. Apart from Hardik, Akshar Patel scored 27 runs in 21 balls and Tilak Verma scored 20 runs in 20 balls.

India had a very bad start and lost the wicket of Sanju Samson in the very first over who had scored a century in the last match. Abhishek Sharma once again failed and could not impress. South African bowlers bowled tight in the powerplay and gave India three setbacks during this period. The Indian team could not recover from the early setbacks till the end, but managed to reach a score worth fighting with Hardik's well-balanced innings. For South Africa, Mark Jansen, Gerald Coetze, Andile Simelane, Aiden Markram and Nkabayomzi Peter took one wicket each.
