Rajasthan News: A major accident took place in Bali area of ​​Pali district on Sunday, when the police escort vehicle in the convoy of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje overturned while trying to save an unknown bike rider. The Bolero vehicle overturned three times and stopped after hitting the pillar of a shop. Seven policemen were injured in the accident, out of which three are in critical condition. All the injured were referred to a higher center after first aid at Bali Hospital.

How did the accident happen?

According to the information, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje was going to Mundara village in Pali district on Sunday. She had left to express condolences on the death of Minister Otaram Dewasi's mother. The accident took place between Bali and Kot Baliyan when an unknown bike rider suddenly took a turn in front of the Bolero vehicle escorting the convoy. In an attempt to save the bike, the Bolero went out of control and overturned.

Condition of injured policemen

SI Bhagchand, Constable Abhishek Puri, Naveen, Jitendra, Ram Prasad, Suraj and driver Ruparam were injured in the accident. Of these, three policemen have suffered serious injuries. After first aid at the local hospital in Bali, all were referred to the higher center in Sumerpur.

Statement of eyewitnesses

BJP leader Ramesh Parihar, who was driving behind the Bolero at the time of the incident, said that as soon as the accident happened, he immediately stopped the vehicle and helped in taking the injured policemen to the hospital. According to eyewitnesses, the Bolero overturned so fast that the policemen sitting in the vehicle were scattered here and there.

Officers reached the spot

As soon as the information about the incident was received, Bali MLA Pushpendra Singh Ranawat, Pali MP PP Chaudhary, Pali Collector Laxminarayan Mantri and SP Chunaram Jat reached the spot. Deputy SP Rajesh Yadav said that this accident happened due to the bike rider taking a sudden turn. As a precaution, CT scan and other necessary tests of all the injured are being done.

The accident of the Chief Minister's convoy in Jaipur is also in discussion

It is worth noting that recently on December 11, a major accident took place in Jaipur due to a taxi entering the convoy of the Chief Minister. In this incident, an ASI and the taxi driver were killed, while several others were injured.
