In such a situation, after the resignation of Lalan Singh on 29th, the CM himself can become the national president or he can give this post to one of his confidants.

Amidst the discussion over the removal of Lalan Singh from the post of JDU national president or his resignation from the post, Congress MLA Anand Shankar said that removing a party president is a party's own election process. This happens in all parties and the same has happened in JDU too, so there is nothing to discuss or political upheaval.
