This accident happened about 25 km from Thoise. Where the army bus fell into the Shyok river at a depth of about 50-60 feet. In which all the soldiers of the army were injured. All the jawans were shifted to 403 Field Hospital in Partapur and surgical teams from Leh were sent to Partapur. However, seven of these jawans have been declared dead.

The Air Force has also been contacted to help the seriously injured soldiers. He may be sent to Western Command for treatment. For what reasons the army bus slipped off the road and fell into the river, it is not yet clear. An official statement has also not been issued by the army regarding this incident. But according to preliminary information, the bus of the soldiers was going from the transit camp towards the forward location of Sub Sector Hanif, during that time this accident happened.
