IPL 2022 | The mega auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is to be held on February 12 and 13. Sreesanth has played a total of 44 IPL matches between 2008 and 2013 and during this time he has taken a total of 40 wickets by conceding runs at an economy rate of 8.14. Sreesanth has a long association with controversies in the IPL. In the first season of IPL, Sreesanth played for Punjab Kings (then Kings XI Punjab). Then Harbhajan Singh slapped him after a match, about which there was a lot of controversy.After this Sreesanth got trapped in the spot-fixing case. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) then banned him from all forms of cricket. Sreesanth returned to domestic cricket after a seven-year ban and now wants to return to the IPL.
