New Delhi: The extradition exercise of Mehul Choksi, an accused and fugitive diamond trader in the PNB scam case, seems to be intensifying. At present, an Indian plane has reached Dominica to bring back fugitive diamond merchant Mehul Choksi, who is lodged in Dominica's jail. The Prime Minister of Antigua himself, Gaston Brownlee, has confirmed this. Antigua Prime Minister Gaston Brownlee said a private jet from India arrived at Dominica's Douglas-Charles Airport. Jet's photo was posted on the Antigua newsroom. Let us inform that in the past, fugitive Mehul Choksi was found in Dominica, after which he has been taken into custody by the Dominican Police. It is being told that he has been accused of illegal entry into Dominica.

Prime Minister Gaston Brownlee from an FM channel said that my understanding says that the Government of India has sent some documents from courts in India to confirm that Mehul Choksi is indeed a fugitive and I think the use of documents in court cases Because you know the judge in Dominica has stayed his extradition until Wednesday. Therefore, the Government of India is doing everything possible to ensure that it is brought back to India for prosecution.

On Saturday night, the first photo of Mehul Chaukasi from Dominica Jail was revealed. In the picture, Mehul Choksi is seen standing behind bars. The iron gate looks like something the lock-up room looks like. Mehul Choksi is in the custody of the Criminil Investigation Department (CID) in Dominica. He was arrested by the CID four days ago. Some more pictures of Mehul Choksi have been revealed. In one picture, he is seen showing his hand out of the door. Injuries are also visible on his arm. Mehul Choksi has alleged that he was assaulted in jail. As evidence, he is showing bruises on his arm.

At the same time, after Mehul Choksi was caught in Dominica, Antigua Prime Minister Gaston Brownlee said that he has asked Dominica to hand over Mehul Choksi directly to India. But the court of Dominica has stayed his extradition and now the case will be heard on 2 June. Here, if sources are to be believed, high officials of the Government of India can also travel to Dominica next week, so that Mehul Choksi can be brought to India.
