The wave of growing discontent within the party as a result of the ticket distribution is now coming out in the open. Many senior leaders have opened a front against the party, and the round of resignations continues. In this article, we will analyze this situation and understand how these developments can affect the BJP's election strategy.

Resignation of Cabinet Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala

The most important event after the BJP ticket distribution is the resignation of Cabinet Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala. Ranjit Singh Chautala, who was expecting a ticket from Rania assembly constituency, is deeply disappointed by the ticket being cut. He says that he will contest from Rania assembly at all costs, even if he does not have the support of BJP. He has turned down the party's offer to contest from Dabwali and is now talking about contesting as an independent candidate or from another party. His decision reflects the depth of discontent within the BJP.

Flood of resignations

There is a flood of resignations within the BJP. BJP MLA from Ratia seat Laxman Napa has bid farewell to the party. He resigned from the primary membership of the party due to ticket denial. His displeasure has come to the fore even more deeply after former MP from Ratia Sunita Duggal got the ticket.

Hisar district BJP secretary Mahamandaleshwar Darshan Giri Maharaj has also resigned from the party. However, citing personal reasons for his resignation, he has also bid farewell to the primary membership and responsibilities of the party.

Haryana BJP OBC Morcha state president and former minister Karnadev Kamboj has also resigned from all party posts. He has resigned accusing the party of ignoring him after his ticket was denied from Indri assembly.

Effect of ticket distribution

After the BJP released the first list of candidates for the assembly elections, the situation of discontent within the party has become even more evident. This list includes the names of 67 candidates, out of which tickets of 9 sitting MLAs have been cut. Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh's daughter, MP Kiran Chaudhary's daughter, and Kuldeep Bishnoi's son Bhavya have got tickets. Apart from this, 8 women have got tickets in this list, and 17 MLAs and 8 ministers have been re-nominated, while tickets of two ministers have been cut.

Conclusion

BJP's ticket distribution has brought political turmoil in Haryana. This wave of discontent within the party not only challenges the current situation but can also affect future strategies. To face and handle this situation, BJP will need to resolve its internal conflicts so that the party's unity remains intact and it can fight strongly in the electoral battle.

It will be interesting to see what changes BJP makes in its strategy in the coming days as a result of these resignations and resentment and whether the party gets success in selecting its new candidates or not.
