These include JDU leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, AJSU chief Sudesh Mahto, RLD's Jayant Chaudhary, Jan Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan, Apna Dal (Sonelal) leader Anupriya Patel and HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi.

NDA allies submitted the list of ministries, TDP demanded 6 ministries and the post of Speaker

According to sources, TDP demanded the post of Speaker along with 6 ministries. JDU has demanded 3 ministries, Chirag 2 (one cabinet, one independent charge), Manjhi one, Shinde 2 (one cabinet, one independent charge). Jayant has said that we were promised a ministerial post before the election. Similarly, Anupriya Patel also wants a ministerial post.

NDA parliamentary party meeting will be held on June 7 at 11 am. In this, Narendra Modi will be formally elected leader. After this, Modi will take oath as Prime Minister for the third time on June 8.

BJP has got 240 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. This is 32 seats less than the majority figure (272). However, NDA crossed the majority figure with 292 seats.

Chandrababu's TDP has become the second largest party in NDA with 16 seats and Nitish's JDU has become the third largest party in NDA with 12 seats. Both the parties are important for BJP at this time. Without them, it is difficult for BJP to form the government.

Modi submitted his resignation to the President, now acting PM

PM Modi submitted his resignation to President Draupadi Murmu at 2 pm on Wednesday. He also recommended dissolving the cabinet. The President accepted his resignation. He also requested him and the Council of Ministers to continue in office until the new government takes charge.

Before this, the last meeting of the Modi cabinet was held at 11.30 am.

In the meeting, it was recommended to dissolve the 17th Lok Sabha. In this, the government passed a motion of thanks for winning for the third time. After this, Modi went to Rashtrapati Bhavan and submitted his resignation. Modi will now be the acting PM.
