According to Turkish media – 3 major tremors occurred. The first according to Turkish time, around 4 in the morning (7.8) and the second at around 10 (7.6) and the third at 3 in the afternoon (6.0). Apart from this, 78 aftershocks were recorded. Their intensity was 4 to 5.

Blood donation camps have been set up in earthquake affected areas in Turkey.

Russia has also announced to send aid to Turkey and Syria. Putin is currently preparing to send two Ilyushin-76 aircraft with 100 rescue personnel.

America, Britain, France and China are also ready to send help.

Heavy destruction occurred in 10 cities including Ankara, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaras, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Nurdagi. There is news of more than 1,710 building collapses here. Many people are buried under the debris. Rescue operation is going on to save people. Emergency has been imposed in many areas.

Schools and colleges will remain closed for a week

A statement was issued by the office of Turkey's Vice President Fuat Okte. Said- Emergency and red alert will continue in 10 cities of the country. All schools and colleges will remain closed for a week. At present, 200 flights have been cancelled. We are building an air corridor for the military. In this, only aircraft will be allowed to land and takeoff.

On the other hand, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) has said something shocking. According to its figures, the death toll in Turkey has crossed two thousand.
