According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 70 percent of the country's deaths have been recorded in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal alone.

Coronavirus India | Even though India seems to be recovering from the second wave of Corona, but 6 states including Maharashtra, Karnataka still remain a headache in the country. There has been a decrease in new cases of corona in the country for some time, but the continuous deaths still remain a matter of concern for the government and experts. According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 70 percent of the country's deaths have been recorded in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal alone.

Maharashtra has recorded the highest number of deaths out of 3207 deaths in the country on Wednesday. The 3,207 new deaths reported on Wednesday include 854 from Maharashtra, 490 from Tamil Nadu, 464 from Karnataka, 194 from Kerala, 175 from Uttar Pradesh, 137 from West Bengal and 104 from Andhra Pradesh. After 36 days on Tuesday, daily deaths in India were recorded below the 3,000 mark, but on Wednesday 3,207 more deaths were recorded, taking the total number of people who lost their lives to Corona in India to 3,35,102.

The maximum destruction of Corona has been seen in Maharashtra itself. A total of 3,35,102 deaths have occurred in the country so far, including 96,198 in Maharashtra, 29,554 in Karnataka, 24,722 in Tamil Nadu, 24,299 in Delhi, 20,672 in Uttar Pradesh, 15,678 in West Bengal, 14,649 in Punjab and 13,077 in Chhattisgarh.

With the arrival of 1,32,788 new cases of Kovid-19 in a day in India, the total number of infection cases has reached 2,83,07,832 while the daily rate of infection has come down to 6.57 percent. According to the data, for the second consecutive day, the number of patients under treatment has been recorded below 20 lakh. The ministry said that 20,19,773 samples were tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday. So far, a total of 35,00,57,330 samples have been tested in the country while the daily rate of infection has been recorded at 6.57 percent.

The infection rate has been less than 10 percent for the ninth consecutive day. The weekly rate of infection has come down to 8.21 percent. The number of patients undergoing treatment for this epidemic has come down to 17,93,645 which is 6.34 percent of the total cases of infection while the national rate of people recovering from Kovid-19 is 92.48 percent. In the last 24 hours, there has been a decrease of 1,01,875 in the cases of infection.
