This action of the National Investigation Agency is going on in Nagpada, Goregaon, Borivali, Santacruz, Mumbra, Bhendi Bazar and other places in Mumbai. Important documents have been recovered during the raid on the hideout of Salim Fruits.

The matter is also related to Nawab Malik

According to NIA sources, this raid is also related to jailed Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik. On the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the NIA had registered a case against Dawood Ibrahim, his illegal business gang 'D Company'. D Company is a terrorist organization banned by the United Nations. Dawood Ibrahim was also declared a global terrorist by the UN in 2003. He is the main accused in the 1993 Mumbai blasts. He sometimes keeps changing hideouts in Pakistan and sometimes in other countries. The NIA issued a statement saying that raids are on at the locations of Dawood's associates and some hawala operators.
