Shopkeepers will have to reveal their name and identity in front of food shops on all Kanwar routes in UP. This has been done to maintain the faith and purity of Kanwar pilgrims. Along with this, the UP government has warned that action will also be taken against those selling products with Halal certification.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has taken this step for Kanwar pilgrims. According to the instructions, name plates will have to be installed on food shops on Kanwar routes across UP. The name and identity of the owner will have to be written on the shops. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the faith of Kanwar pilgrims.

Sawan is starting from 22nd July and in such a situation the journey of Kanwariyas will also begin. The government and administration have also started preparations for the Kanwar Yatra in full swing. The administration says that this decision has been taken to avoid any kind of confusion among the Kanwariyas so that any kind of allegations and counter-allegations do not start and law and order is maintained.
