Republic day / Parking of all metro stations will be closed for 30 hours from today morning, Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan metro stations will remain closed till 12 noon

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to change the services at select metro stations on Wednesday in view of security on Republic Day. Under this, passengers will not get entry and exit facility at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro Station from morning to 12 noon in view of the Republic Day celebrations on Yellow Line (HUDA City Center-Samaypur Badli).

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to change the services at select metro stations on Wednesday in view of security on Republic Day. Under this, passengers will not get entry and exit facility at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro Station from morning to 12 noon in view of the Republic Day celebrations on Yellow Line (HUDA City Center-Samaypur Badli). However, interchange facility will be available here for the passengers of Yellow Line and Violet Line.

During this time, entry or exit gates at Patel Chowk and Lok Kalyan Marg metro stations will remain closed from 8.45 am to 12 noon. All metro parking will remain closed from 6.00 am on Tuesday to 2 pm on Wednesday (January 26). DMRC has taken these steps as part of the security arrangements.

Metro services will not be available from 2 PM to 6.30 PM at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro Stations (HUDA City Center - Samaypur Badli) even on the occasion of Beating Retreat Ceremony on 29 January (Saturday). During this period, passengers of Yellow Line and Violet (Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh) will be allowed interchange at Central Secretariat Metro Station. After 6.30 pm, services will be normal at these stations as well.
