Jharkhand Elections 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting organized in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, where the local people raised slogans of Modi-Modi to welcome him and honored him by lighting mobile torches. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was also present on this occasion. Talking about reaching Jamshedpur by road, PM Modi said, "I wanted to talk to you people face to face, so I reached you by road. No obstacle can separate me from you. I will not go back without seeing you."

Greetings and development announcements on Karma festival

PM Modi wished the people of Jharkhand on Karma festival and on this occasion announced the gift of six new Vande Bharat trains to the state. He said, "In this festive atmosphere, Jharkhand has got six new Vande Bharat trains. These trains will create employment and progress opportunities for the youth." Additionally, he talked about providing pucca houses to thousands of poor people under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and said that sisters will be able to enter these houses on the day of Karma Puja. PM Modi termed the occasion as special and said, "This brother of yours is blessed to gift a pucca house to his sisters. Most of the houses are in the name of my sisters and mothers under the PM Awas Yojana. On the day of Karma Puja, sisters pray for the long life of their brothers. Today this brother of yours is blessed to be able to gift you a pucca house."

Comment on political situation of Jharkhand

The Prime Minister also commented on the political situation of Jharkhand and talked about the three 'enemies' of the state. He termed JMM, RJD and Congress as obstacles in the development of Jharkhand. Modi said, "RJD still wants to take revenge from Jharkhand for its formation. And Congress hates Jharkhand. Congress ruled the country from Delhi for so many decades, but did not allow backward, tribals and Dalits to come forward. JMM moved ahead in politics by using tribal votes, but today they are standing with those who occupied the forests of tribals."

Prime Minister Modi also alleged that previous governments only looted mineral-rich Jharkhand. He praised the development work of the BJP and said, "We created the District Mineral Foundation. BJP is working at the Centre for the development of Jharkhand."

Conclusion

The announcements and development schemes made on the occasion of Karma Parv have certainly instilled hope and enthusiasm among the people of Jharkhand.
