According to a survey by America-based consultancy firm 'Morning Consult', PM Modi has got 76 percent approval rating. After PM Modi, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is at second place, he has got 66 percent rating. After this, Switzerland's President Alain Berset has got 58 percent rating and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has got 49 percent rating.

PM Modi has remained on the top of this list for the last many years. At the same time, US President Joe Biden is at seventh place in the list with 40 percent approval rating, which is his highest approval rating since March.

Justin Trudeau highest in disapproval rating

The data collected by the political intelligence firm is based on a survey of 22 global leaders. According to data collected from September 6-12, 2023, PM Modi has the lowest disapproval rating in the list. This is only 18 percent.

As far as the disapproval rate is concerned, Canada's Justin Trudeau has the highest disapproval rating among the top 10 leaders at 58 percent. Prime Minister Modi also retained his top position as the world's most popular leader in the September survey of 'Morning Consult' with an approval rating of 76 percent. PM Modi was on top in the previous ratings also.

Modi magic is amazing

With an approval rating of 76 percent in the April survey, PM Modi was declared the 'most popular' leader, leaving behind his American and British counterparts Joe Biden and Rishi Sunak. Recently, Bharatiya Janata Party i.e. BJP gives the credit of its election victory mainly to the global popularity of Prime Minister Modi. It has won the assembly elections in three out of four states, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. BJP termed this spectacular achievement as 'Modi magic'.
