This will be an official visit of PM Modi and we hope that the two leaders will be able to talk informally as well."

Peskov said that the relationship between India and Russia is at the level of strategic partnership. He also said that both face-to-face talks and delegation talks will take place in the Kremlin.

PM Modi last visited Russia in 2019

This will be PM Modi's first visit to Russia in the last 5 years. He last visited Russia in the year 2019, when PM Modi went to attend an economic conference in the Far East city of Vladivostok.
