Home Minister Amit Shah, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, ICMR officials, Civil Aviation officials, VK Paul of NITI Aayog and others were present in the meeting with PM Modi. The current preparations were reviewed in the meeting and future plans were discussed.

Special attention on passengers coming from abroad

The Central Government has given special guidelines regarding the passengers coming from abroad to prevent infection with the new variant of Corona. Random sampling of passengers coming from abroad has been started at airports across the country. While advising the people regarding the transition from the new variant of Omicron, the Central Government has said that there is no need to panic.
