The power of Digital IndiaThe Prime Minister particularly emphasized on India's digital revolution. He told the NRIs that even though they still use wallets in the US, the use of digital wallets has now become common in India. This presents a unique example of financial inclusion and speed of digital transactions in India.India's carbon emissions and global responsibilityCriticizing Western countries on climate change and environmental issues, PM Modi said that India has always understood its responsibility in global carbon emissions. He said, "India has 17 percent of the world's population, but our carbon emissions are less than four percent." Emphasizing that India is not a destructive force for the world but a country moving towards a bright future, he said, "India is not like fire, we are like the sun which gives light."This visit of PM Modi is playing an important role in strengthening India-US relations as well as keeping the diaspora connected with India.
