PM Modi to inaugurate Indian Mobile Congress

Along with this, PM Modi will also inaugurate the sixth edition of the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC). IMC 2022 is scheduled to be held from 1st to 4th October with the theme of 'New Digital Universe'. Here the Prime Minister will be shown the working of 5G services from an underground tunnel of the upcoming Delhi Metro station in Dwarka Sector 25 of the capital.

According to an official statement, the Prime Minister will launch 5G services in select cities and gradually expand it across the country over the next few years. The total economic impact of 5G on India is estimated to be up to US$450 billion by 2035.
