New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jammu and Kashmir for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370. This visit of PM Modi will be on 24 April. BJP's national organization secretary Ashok Kaul gave this information. Kaul also told that during the visit, efforts are being made to meet PM Modi with the representatives of Kashmiri Pandits so that he himself can share his problems with the PM. Earlier on Tuesday, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said that PM Narendra Modi has transformed Jammu and Kashmir from a capital of terror to a capital of tourism.

Chugh said that due to PM Modi, there has been a decrease in terrorist incidents in the Valley. He said that the thinking of BJP is clear that whoever takes up arms against common people will dig his own grave. Talking to the media, Chugh said that BJP is committed to eliminate terrorism from the Valley and create opportunities for equitable development there. It is our dream to establish peace in Kashmir and we will continue to make efforts in this direction.

Attacking the PDP and the National Conference, Chugh said that both these parties always separate Kashmir from Jammu. They mislead people by talking about friendship with China and Pakistan. Toxic ideology is still there because it is in their DNA.
