If you install solar panels on the roof of your house under this scheme, then the government will provide subsidy of up to Rs 78,000 to the beneficiaries in different categories. Its purpose is that people can install solar panels and meet their energy needs. This will save the general public Rs 18 thousand annually and the government's dream of green energy will be fulfilled soon.How can you apply?
- First of all register in the portal. After that choose your state. Select the electricity distribution company.
- After that enter the electricity consumer number. Enter your mobile number and email. Follow the directions given in the portal.
- Login with consumer number and mobile number. Apply for rooftop solar as per the form.
- Wait for feasibility approval from the discom. Once you get the feasibility approval, get the plant installed from any registered vendor in your discom.
- Once the installation is complete, submit the plant details and apply for a net meter.
- After the installation of the net meter and inspection by the Discom, they will generate a commissioning certificate from the portal.
- Once you get the commissioning report, submit the bank account details and a cancelled cheque through the portal. You will receive your subsidy in your bank account within 30 days.
