Bharat Bandh: Dalit and tribal organizations have called for a 14-hour Bharat Bandh on Wednesday in protest against the Supreme Court's decision to allow the implementation of creamy layer in reservation. The National Confederation of Dalit and Adivasi Organizations (NACDAOR) has called it an attack on constitutional rights. The bandh is having the most impact in Bihar, where the police lathi-charged the violent protesters in Patna. Protesters blocked the road in Danapur. There was also a demonstration at the Collectorate in Greater Noida, where members of Bhim Army and Azad Samaj Party joined. Police have made tight security arrangements in Noida, and metro stations and bus stops are being monitored.

Aarakshan Bachao Sangharsh Samiti also demonstrated in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Congress, TMC, SP, BSP, and other parties have supported this bandh, while an alert has been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Protest at Collectorate in Greater Noida

Many organizations have reached the district collectorate in Greater Noida regarding Bharat Bandh. Bhim Army and Azad Samaj Party demonstrated. Samajwadi Party workers have also reached the district collectorate. Meanwhile, heavy police force has been deployed at the collectorate in view of the protest.

Noida police has become alert regarding Bharat Bandh. Joint Police Commissioner Shiv Hari Meena is patrolling on foot with the team. Metro stations and bus stops are also being monitored. Dalit organizations have called for Bharat Bandh today regarding reservation.
