New Delhi : A case of cheating of lakhs of rupees from a former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer has come to light in Noida. He lost Rs 8.17 lakh after befriending a foreign woman on Facebook. The former officer alleged that after this, a total of Rs 8.17 lakh was taken from him several times on other items.Later on realizing that he had been cheated, he lodged a complaint with the police station.
