Exposure / Samba-Kathua border is the most convenient way for terrorists to infiltrate, have infiltrated 4 times in three years

The Samba-Kathua border has become the most favorable place for infiltration for Pakistan's terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. All the major attacks in Jammu in the last 3 years have been done by Jaish and the perpetrators of all these attacks were Pakistani terrorists, who had infiltrated from the border. The only thing common in the investigation of all these attacks is that terrorists came from the border, whereas after the 2018 attack in Jhajjar Kotli, the NIA had clearly said that the Kathua and Samba borders are being used by terrorists.

Case 1

On 12 September 2018, three terrorists going to Kashmir in a truck attacked police personnel in Jhajjar Kotli. After this the terrorists fled into the forest. Later these terrorists were killed. All three terrorists belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed. All three terrorists were residents of Pakistan and they had infiltrated from the Kathua border.

Case 2

On February 10, 2018, three or four fidayeen terrorists had entered the military camp of Sunjwan. These terrorists killed seven officers, personnel and civilians. All four terrorists were killed in the encounter. These terrorists had also infiltrated from the Kathua-Samba border.

Case 3

On 31 January 2020, four terrorists hiding in a truck attacked the security personnel at Ban toll plaza in Nagrota. Four terrorists were killed in this attack. These terrorists had also infiltrated from the Hiranagar border of Kathua. These terrorists also belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Case 4

22 April 2022 Fidayeen attack on security forces in Sunjwan, Jammu. Two terrorists were killed in this. These terrorists also belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed and had infiltrated from the border of Samba.

BSF has no information about infiltration

NIA has also disclosed

About three years ago, in the investigation of the Jhajjar Kotli attack, the NIA had revealed that the border of Samba and Kathua was being used by Pakistani terrorists. At the same time, all the attacks in Jammu in the last 3 years have been done by Jaish and there were Pakistani terrorists, who had come from across the border.
