Let us tell you that after several hours of interrogation, Sanjay Singh was arrested by ED on 4 October 2023. Since then Sanjay Singh is imprisoned in Tihar Jail.

Let us tell you that this policy was made when Manish Sisodia was the Excise Minister. In this, he was accused of providing financial help to some specific people. After that the Lieutenant Governor had recommended a CBI investigation into this matter. Later the government canceled it.

Sanjay Singh's bail plea keeps getting rejected

Before this, Sanjay Singh has petitioned for bail several times in Rouse Avenue Court, Delhi High Court and Supreme Court, but his bail petition has been rejected.

On 24 November 2023, Rouse Avenue Court had extended the jail custody of Sanjay Singh till 4 December. Earlier, AAP leader Sanjay Singh was sent to judicial custody for 14 days on November 10 by the court. After completion of his custody on 24th November i.e. Friday, he was produced in Rouse Avenue Court.

Aam Aadmi Party alleges that fearing the popularity of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, BJP is misusing central agencies and using them against opposition parties. On the other hand, BJP has been rejecting these allegations. Many AAP leaders including Sanjay Singh have been arrested in the excise case.
