By Election 2024: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh on Saturday fiercely targeted opposition parties in Punjab. He accused the opposition parties of spreading propaganda against the AAP government in the state. Let us tell you that there is a by-election on Jalandhar West (reserved) assembly seat on July 10. Addressing an election meeting regarding this, Sanjay Singh praised Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Praise for CM Mann

Regarding Bhagwant Mann, the AAP leader said that he has done "historic" work for every section of the society. The ruling party in Punjab has fielded Mohinder Bhagat for this by-election. This by-election has been held after Sheetal Angural resigned from the post of AAP MLA. Angural left AAP and joined BJP and is now the BJP candidate for the by-election.

Attack on BJP-SAD

Sanjay Singh accused the Congress, BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) of spreading "propaganda" against the AAP government. He alleged that the Congress did nothing for the people during its rule. The AAP leader said Akali leaders were involved in "hooliganism" during the SAD rule, while the BJP is a "party of thieves". He said it steals MLAs and election symbols from other parties.

"BJP is a different kind of thief"

"We have heard about bicycle thieves, bike thieves, but the BJP is a different kind of thief. It steals MLAs and election symbols of political parties. Here too, the BJP stole our MLAs, due to which this by-election is taking place," Sanjay Singh said.
