Arvind Kejriwal News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh and Mukesh Ahlawat are in trouble ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections. The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) team reached Arvind Kejriwal's house, but the team was not allowed to enter. Meanwhile, MP Sanjay Singh is being questioned at the ACB office, where his legal team is also present.

Investigation of allegations of horse-trading of MLAs

AAP leaders had accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of offering Rs 15 crore each and ministerial posts to their candidates. Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena has directed the ACB to investigate the matter.

ACB action

According to sources, three ACB teams have been formed. One team is questioning Sanjay Singh, while the other team is taking statements from Akhilesh Pati Tripathi. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party lawyers stopped the ACB team from entering Kejriwal's house, arguing that they do not have any valid documents.

BJP's complaint and AAP's counterattack

The BJP had complained to the LG that the allegations leveled by the Aam Aadmi Party are false and politically motivated. They claim that this is a conspiracy to tarnish the image of the BJP and spoil the election atmosphere.

On the other hand, Sanjay Singh announced to go to the ACB office and file a complaint. He said that the BJP is doing a false drama and the ACB should take fair action.

Kejriwal's claim

Arvind Kejriwal claimed on social media that 16 candidates of his party were offered Rs 15 crore each and ministerial posts in exchange for joining the BJP. He called it dangerous for democracy and accused the BJP of doing horse-trading politics.

Conclusion

This matter has become a big political issue before the Delhi Assembly elections. The stir in political corridors will continue until the results of the ACB investigation come out. It will be important to see if the ACB finds any concrete evidence to support these allegations or it remains just political rhetoric.
