Wrestler Satender Malik: Trials for the Commonwealth Games 2022 are being held at the KD Jadhav Stadium in New Delhi. In this episode, a shameful incident happened during the trial on Tuesday, when wrestler Satender Malik, who was competing in the 125 kg category, lost his cool. Satender misbehaved with senior referee Jagbir Singh after the decision of the match went against him and then beat him up. After this act, the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has banned Satender for life.

WFI Assistant Secretary Vinod Tomar told Aaj Tak, Action (125kg category) against wrestler Satender, who was giving trials for Commonwealth Games, misbehaved with the judge after losing the bout. WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was also present during the trials and immediately acted against Satender and suspended him for life.

Jagbir said this thing

Match referee Jagbir Singh said, "I was in charge of the mat and when the game came under suspicious circumstances the chief judge asked me to watch the video and give a decision based on that." After announcing my decision, wrestler Satendra Malik started fighting and attacked me.

The whole incident happened like this.

Satender was leading 3-0 until 18 seconds before the end of the final round, but opposition wrestler Mohit pushed him off the mat after a take-down. Due to this Mohit was to get 3 points, but referee Virendra Malik did not give Mohit two points of take down. After which the angry wrestler challenged the decision.

The referee's decision was then sent to the jury for review. The jury, Satyadev Malik, recused himself from the decision as Satender and Satyadev belonged to the same village. In such a situation, experienced senior referee Jagbir Singh ruled through replays to give three points to Mohit. The score was leveled 3-3 after referee Jagbir's decision, which was held till the end. In such a situation, Mohit was declared the winner due to getting the last point of the match as per the rules.

After losing the match, Satender lost his cool and started fighting after reaching Jagbir Singh. The whole drama happened in front of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President officials Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who was personally supervising the trials.
