A career boasting some of the most iconic performances and single hits, multi-talented Sonakshi Sinha clocks 10 years in Bollywood and takes to her social media to celebrate a decade of learning. After working as a costume designer in her early career, Sonakshi made her acting debut in the action-drama film Dabangg (2010), which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

After working as a costume designer in her early career, Sonakshi made her acting debut in the action-drama film Dabangg (2010), which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Sinha has played the romantic interest of the male protagonists in several top-grossing action-dramas, including Rowdy Rathore (2012), Son of Sardaar (2012), Dabangg 2 (2012) and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014). She gained critical acclaim for her portrayal of a woman suffering from tuberculosis in the romantic drama Lootera (2013).

Sonakshi took to her social media and wrote, “10 years and counting...I can’t believe it’s been 10 whole years since I first appeared on the silver screen. I remember being so unsure if this is really what I even wanted to do... but you know what erased all that doubt? The love I received from all of YOU! Your love encouraged me, your criticism pushed me to do better”

In addition to acting in films, Sinha has sung a small part in the Imran Khan song "Let's Celebrate" in her film Tevar (2015). She has also sung the single "Aaj Mood Isqholic Hai" and sung in a total of four of her films.

Next she will be seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India, a forthcoming war drama directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya. The film features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk and Pranitha Subhash.
