The land of Sonbhadra will soon generate gold, after confirming the availability of gold reserves in the land of Sonbhadra, now the Geology and Mining Department has made preparations to conduct global tender of three mines. Gold deposits were found in Sonbhadra near Diyaganj, Sona Pahari near Empra, and Hardi near Kota. When the Geology and Mining Department got it investigated, there was evidence of gold being available in the earth. The department has now earmarked three mining areas to extract gold from the gold mines. The lease of these three mining areas will now be issued through global e-tender. This will not only increase the revenue of the government but also increase business and employment in Sonbhadra.


Potash and rock phosphate mines will also be tender

Global tender is also being done for potash mines in Kurchha and Barwadih of Sonbhadra. Global tender is being done for three rock phosphate mines at Tori and Pisrani in Madawara tehsil of Lalitpur.


2943.25 tonnes of gold reserves have been confirmed in Son Pahari

In the year 2020, it has been confirmed to find a huge gold deposit in Hardi village of Kon police station area of ​​Sonbhadra and Son hill in Mahuli village of Dudhdhi tehsil. Hardi region has 646.15 kg gold reserves, while Son Pahadi has 2943.25 tonnes gold reserves.


Total 17 mines marked

According to sources, the department has identified a total of 17 mines of gold, potash and rock phosphate. Global tenders are being invited for about eight mines in the first phase.
