Haryana Election 2024 / Talks between AAP, Congress for Haryana alliance fail over seat-sharing

There has been no alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in the Haryana assembly elections. On Monday, Aam Aadmi Party released the first list of 20 candidates. Anurag Dhanda's name is also in the first list of Aam Aadmi Party, he has been made a candidate from Kalayat.

Haryana Election 2024 : Today, Aam Aadmi Party has released the first list of its candidates amid the delay in talks of alliance with Congress. After this, AAP Haryana State President Sushil Gupta has made a big announcement regarding the alliance. He said that the first list has been released today. Soon we will also release the second list. Putting an end to the talks of alliance, he said that we are partners of INDIA alliance but at the national level.


What did AAP state chief say on alliance

AAP Haryana chief Sushil Gupta said for Haryana assembly elections, "We have released the first list and soon you will get the second list as well. Now very little time is left for the elections. We waited honestly (for the alliance). The organization is strong in every assembly and that strong organization wanted us to contest the elections. We have shown our patience and after that we released our list. We were partners of INDIA alliance. We are partners of INDIA alliance at the national level." Candidates will be fielded in all seats


Let us inform you that even this morning Sushil Gupta had said about the alliance that he will wait till evening, if there is no decision on the alliance from the party high command, then he will release his list for all 90 seats. He said, "As the AAP chief in Haryana, I am preparing for 90 assembly seats. We have not received any news about the alliance from the high command. If we do not get news today, then we will release our list for all 90 seats by evening."


The last date for filing nominations for candidates in the Haryana assembly elections is September 12. At the same time, elections in the state will be held in one phase on October 5 and the counting of votes will be done on October 8.

Meanwhile, AAP MP Sanjay Singh also said, "Nominations have to be done by the 12th, very little time is left and our priority is to remove the Bharatiya Janata Party. Today a list of 20 candidates has been released, I congratulate all of them on behalf of Arvind Kejriwal and we are committed to fulfilling the 5 guarantees. More lists will be released soon. Aam Aadmi Party will contest the elections strongly in Haryana."
