Haryana Election Result: The results of the Haryana assembly elections were declared on Tuesday, October 8, in which the Congress suffered a crushing defeat. After this defeat, the allies of the opposition 'India' alliance have advised the Congress to reconsider its electoral strategy, especially keeping in mind the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Delhi.

Kejriwal's reaction

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal advised the Congress to avoid overconfidence and overconfidence in elections. He said, "The biggest lesson from the Haryana election results is that no one should be overconfident in elections." Kejriwal also said that no election should be taken lightly as winning every seat is challenging.

Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) stand

Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi said that the Haryana election results will have no impact on Maharashtra. But she warned the Congress that the party should reconsider its strategy. She said that the Congress' performance in a direct fight against the BJP in Haryana was weak, from which they will have to learn in the upcoming elections.

CPI's advice

Communist Party of India (CPI) general secretary D. Raja has also advised the Congress to change its strategy. He said that the Congress should do serious introspection on the results of Haryana and work together with all the allies of the 'India' alliance in the upcoming elections. Raja especially emphasized on cooperation and coordination among all parties for the elections of Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

Congress's response

After the election defeat, the Congress made its allies realize the importance of alliance. A senior party leader reiterated that the Congress had come first in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha elections and said that the alliance has a dharma and all allies should behave accordingly. He also said that one should avoid making allegations and counter-allegations against each other through the media and it is everyone's duty to strengthen the alliance.

Way forward

After the results of the Haryana elections, it has become clear for the Congress that it will have to improve its election strategy, especially in those states where the next elections are due. Taking into account the advice of 'India' alliance partners, the Congress will have to strengthen its preparations in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Delhi to effectively counter the BJP.
