Navya Haridas contested against Priyanka Gandhi on a BJP ticket from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, but she lost to Priyanka Gandhi by 5,12,399 votes. She filed a petition in the Kerala High Court alleging that Priyanka Gandhi hid important information related to her and her family's properties in her nomination papers, which was important for voters to know.

Navya argued that Priyanka Gandhi deliberately tried to mislead voters and gave false information to influence their choice. Apart from this, the petition also alleged that Priyanka Gandhi exerted undue influence on voters during the electoral process and this violated the law.

Priyanka Gandhi's election affidavit

Priyanka Gandhi had informed in her election affidavit that she has movable assets worth Rs 4.24 crore, while she has immovable assets worth Rs 13.89 crore. Apart from this, details of movable assets worth Rs 37.91 crore owned by Priyanka's husband Robert Vadra were also given in the affidavit. Priyanka had also told that she has a debt of about Rs 15 lakh 75 thousand.

After the petition filed by Navya Haridas, it remains to be seen what decision the Kerala High Court takes in this matter. If the court rules against Priyanka Gandhi, her Lok Sabha membership may be in danger.
