The new team of the new government in Uttar Pradesh will be prepared two days before the legislature party meeting to be held on Thursday. The list of ministers will be discussed in detail on Monday and Tuesday. Yogi Adityanath will take oath on Friday along with 45 to 48 ministers. Every caste as well as every region will get representation in the new team.

Party sources said that a detailed list has been prepared after the marathon meeting on March 16 on the new team of the Yogi government. At present, a blueprint of the new cabinet has been drawn from the detailed list of around 60 names. It is yet to be shortlisted. In the next two days, after a series of discussions, about 15 of these names will be reduced. Almost every caste has been ensured in the detailed list, especially those belonging to OBCs. Apart from this, efforts are also being made that in the very first list, all the areas should also get representation in the government.

Maurya almost certain to become Deputy CM

In the meeting held on March 16, there was an in-principle agreement to once again give the old responsibility to Deputy CM Maurya, who lost the election from Sirathu. The defeat of the Mauryas is considered spontaneous for several reasons. It was said that since he was the Deputy Chief Minister along with a member of the Legislative Council. In such a situation, he could not concentrate on any one particular seat. However, the source says that the detailed list is yet to be discussed at the top level. So some changes are possible at the last minute.

The new team's work becomes easier due to the loss of many ministers

Eleven ministers lost in the assembly elections, while four ministers switched sides before the election. Among the losers were three cabinet ministers, one with independent charge and eight ministers of state. Of these, only Maurya will return to the cabinet. The party's allies Nishad Party and Apna Dal will get one cabinet minister's post each. After this, in the next year's expansion, Apna Dal will be given the post of a minister of state.
