Sources in Manasa district hospital said that during the post-mortem, two dozen bullet wounds were found on Musewala's body. According to the report, he died of excessive bleeding. At the same time, injuries in internal organs have also been confirmed.

It was told that after the post-mortem, the viscera samples have been kept safe and are being sent for further examination. However, the hospital has not shared the post-mortem results with the police.

The family of the deceased Sidhu Musewala was adamant on not conducting the post-mortem. The family was demanding that the investigation of the murder should be led by a High Court judge and for this the help of NIA-CBI should be taken.

The family members raised the question that why was the list of removal of security made public when there was a apprehension of danger? Action should be taken against the accused in this case. However, later after persuasion and assurance, the family agreed for the post-mortem of the deceased.

Let us inform that the Chief Minister of the state Bhagwant Mann has announced the formation of a judicial commission under the supervision of the sitting judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to investigate the murder of Musewala.


Police action also intensified

On the other hand, state government police officials say that all the suspects have been identified and will be arrested soon.

Punjab Police on Monday arrested five suspects from Uttarakhand in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala. The five were on their way to Hemkund Sahib Gurdwara in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. After getting the inputs from the informer, the police is trying to find out what was their role in the Moosewala murder by interrogating the detained suspects.

Let us inform that on Sunday, 28-year-old famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Mansa district of Punjab. The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab had cut the security of Moosewala a day earlier i.e. on Saturday and this incident happened on the second day itself.
