IND vs AUS: The first day of the third Test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia was washed out due to rain. It rained intermittently at The Gaba Stadium in Brisbane on Saturday, due to which there was no progress in the match. Not a single ball could be bowled in the last two sessions of the day.

Before the rain, Australia had scored 28 runs without any loss. Nathan McSweeney and Usman Khawaja returned unbeaten in the opening pair. The Indian captain won the toss and decided to bowl first, and his bowling also performed well in the beginning.

Earlier, about 20-25 minutes of play was wasted due to rain after 5.3 overs, but later the rain stopped the game again. At this time it was raining heavily in the Gaba, due to which the game had to be suspended once again.

Two matches have been played in the series so far, and the score is currently tied at 1-1. In the first match, India won by 295 runs, while in the second match, Australia defeated India by 10 wickets. The exciting competition between the two teams continues for this series, and the rain on the first day of the third Test match has made it even more interesting.

Despite the rain, the Indian bowlers had a good start, but Khawaja and McSweeney batted without any mistake and did not give any chance to the Indian team. Now all eyes are on whether when the game resumes, the Indian bowlers will be able to get Australia out quickly or will they be able to challenge the Khawaja-McSweeney pair.
