The district police stated a six-member gang had come to loot a department of the Allahabad Bank withinside the Chengmari place early on Sunday morning. The police arrived on the spot following a tip-off. The gang fled in vehicles, consisting of a -wheeler, on seeing the policemen. An come upon befell after the police chased them.


“The vehicles, tools, gas cutters and pistols at the side of oxygen cylinders have been recovered,” a neighborhood police officer stated, including that the our bodies of the slain dacoits were saved at a neighbourhood health facility for autopsy.
