The Uttar Pradesh government will approach the Supreme Court against the order of the Allahabad High Court in the 69 thousand assistant teacher recruitment case. During the hearing of the contempt petition of Upendra Kumar Dayal, the state government's advocate gave this information to the court. A division bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Agarwal, hearing the matter on this, fixed April 8, 2022 for hearing.The Allahabad High Court, in its order dated August 25, 2021, had ordered allotment of one mark each to six hundred candidates in case of one question being wrong in the Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination. For non-compliance of the order, a contempt petition was filed on behalf of the petitioners in the High Court.During the hearing in the court, the government advocate told that the Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to file a special leave petition in the Supreme Court against the decision of the Allahabad High Court in the recruitment of 69 thousand assistant teachers. On this, the court ordered the public prosecutor to file an affidavit in the matter and fixed April 8 for the hearing of the matter.The Allahabad High Court, in a decision given last year, has ordered to increase one mark of such candidates, whose selection has been stopped by one mark. The question was claimed to be wrong on the part of the candidates, which the court considered correct and passed an order to increase one mark.
