Uttar Pradesh News: The protest of competitive students in front of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) in Prayagraj is increasing continuously. For the second consecutive day, the number of students sitting on the dharna is increasing, which has increased the possibility of this movement becoming more violent. Many students who came to surround the commission on Monday went to their hostels on Tuesday after a 24-hour dharna, but their return after four in the evening heated up the atmosphere again.

Police tightened their belts, tight security around the commission

The administration has taken strict measures to control the situation. As a precaution, shops around the UPPSC have been closed, and the police have increased the security cordon around the commission premises. According to sources, the Prayagraj police may try to remove the students from there at any time. On the other hand, the students say that this time they are fully prepared for a fight to the finish. On Tuesday, the students intensified the protest with slogans like "Na Batenge, Na Hatenge". Along with this, while raising slogans against the chairman and secretary of the commission, their effigies were burnt and pamphlets were distributed across the city.

Increased pressure on the government, Yogi government targeted by the opposition

The lathi charge and student movement during this protest have put a lot of pressure on the state government. Many political parties have sharply criticized the state government on this issue. It is being told that on Monday night the government had expressed strong displeasure over the situation to the DM and Police Commissioner of Prayagraj. After this, the administrative officials held several rounds of talks with the students, but it has not yielded any concrete results.

Students' demands and the commission's stubborn stance

The students are adamant on the demand of conducting a single examination in a day and normalization in the results. However, the commission has also made it clear that it will not accept any kind of demands. In this situation, the anger of the students has increased further, and the administration is also in full alert mode to prevent any untoward incident. According to police sources, if the situation worsens, force may be used to remove students from the commission premises at night.

Protest by distributing missing posters and pamphlets

Students have put up missing posters of UPPSC Chairman Sanjay Srinet all over Prayagraj. In these posters, students have been called upon to be prepared for any situation. At the protest site also, students are raising slogans while waving these posters. This demonstration is getting more intense day by day, due to which the situation remains extremely tense.

Administration in search of solution

Administrative officials of Prayagraj are trying to find a peaceful solution to this issue, but no concrete decision has been taken so far. Looking at the situation, it appears that if there is no agreement between the administration and the students soon, the movement may become even more widespread.
