REPUBLIC DAY PARADE 2022 / UP's Kashi Vishwanath tableau got first place, CISF best marching team

The tableau of Uttar Pradesh has got the best place among the tableaux taken out on the Rajpath on the occasion of Republic Day Parade. The tableau was displayed on behalf of the state during the parade on Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. Apart from this, the tableau of Maharashtra stood first in the popular choice category. The CISF was adjudged the best marching force among the Central Armed Police Forces.

According to the Defense Ministry, the Indian Navy was adjudged as the best marching force among the forces. In this, the Indian Air Force stood first in the Popular Choice category. The tableaux of nine ministries were also included in the Republic Day parade. In the competition between these ministries, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Education were joint winners.

Tableaux of 12 states were included

This time the parade of 12 states was included in the Republic Day parade. This included states like UP, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa, Uttarakhand, Punjab. The tableaux of UP, Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir were praised the most. At the same time, the tableau of West Bengal was not included in the parade this time. There was a preparation from Bengal side to display a tableau on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. There was a lot of controversy after the decision not to include the tableau. The matter even reached the High Court.

This time was very special

Republic Day was thereafter celebrated as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. In such a situation, this time there were many such things, which were happening for the first time. This time the biggest fly past was also organized on Rajpath, in which the Air Force showed its strength. At the same time, 1000 drones were also demonstrated at the Beating Retreat Ceremony. Also this time the Scottish tune 'Abide with Me' was also not part of the Beating Retreat. This tune was being played by the Indian Army since 1950.

Uttar Pradesh has got the first position in the tableau of the states for the second time in a row. Earlier, in the Republic Day parade of 2021, Uttar Pradesh also won. In 2021, the tableau was displayed on the Ram temple from the state on Rajpath.
