People who have taken both doses by June-July or have completed nine months or 36 weeks. Only those people will be given a precautionary dose in April. At the same time, the facility of first and second doses at government centers and people above 60 years of age and people in the front lines will continue to get precautionary doses free of cost.

A day earlier, the central government had approved a precautionary dose for people in the age group of 18 to 59 years from Sunday. Under this, more than 200 vaccination centers have been set up in hospitals and nursing homes in the capital. People can reach the vaccination center from 9 am onwards. Vaccination will be done by evening at all centers.

Till Friday, 18920 people took the dose: According to the Health Bellitin released on Friday in the capital, 18920 people have taken the dose of corona in the last 24 hours. Of these, 4449 have taken the first, 10159 the second and 4312 people have taken the precautionary dose. At the same time, 1813 children aged 15 to 17 have taken corona supplements.

No need for new registration

People do not need to register separately for the precautionary dose. For this people can use their mobile number. At the same time, the third dose will be available only after seeing the certificate of both the previous doses at the centers. People can download a third dose certificate from the Covin website. People can register online for their convenience. However, people will be able to get the third dose even if they reach the vaccination center directly.
