Corona / Vaccine panic wasted, 62 percent were admitted due to other reasons, 38 percent people reached the hospital after being vaccinated

According to a report, there is panic and restlessness among the people about the vaccine. Only 38 per cent of the people who got sick after vaccination were those that were directly related to vaccination. Most of the patients reached the hospital due to other problems.

According to information received from the Immunization Branch of the Union Health Ministry, corona vaccination is going on in the country from 16 January 2021. Since then, 12 review meetings have been held in which 935 cases registered in different states of the country were discussed. All these patients were admitted to hospitals shortly or a few days after taking the corona vaccine. After looking at the case history of 358 out of 935 patients, they were directly linked with corona vaccination but no role of corona vaccination has been seen in the rest of the cases. The committee said it was a coincidence behind the arrival of these people to the hospital.

Special monitoring mechanism made to know the adverse effects

A senior ministry official said, a monitoring mechanism has been in place in the country for many years to know the adverse effects of vaccination. When the corona vaccination started, during that time this surveillance system was activated which is known as AEFI.

Hospital can deliver low trust

A senior official of the vaccination branch said that it has been a long time since the corona vaccination. Crores of people in the country have received both doses of the vaccine so far. In such a situation, there is no question of having less faith in the vaccine. If people rely on it before getting vaccinated, they won't have to worry about vaccination anxiety and they won't have to be admitted to hospitals.
