IMD Weather Alert / Weather will change in Delhi-UP! There are chances of rain, know the weather update

There are signs of change in weather in Delhi-NCR from today. There may be light rain for three days, due to which the temperature may drop to 30 degrees Celsius. Alert of rain and strong winds has been issued in UP as well. Weather will remain effective in Rajasthan and MP as well, alerts have been issued.

IMD Weather Alert: Delhi and its surrounding areas will see a change in the weather from today. There is a possibility of light rain or drizzle in various areas of Delhi-NCR for the next three days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are signs of a drop in temperature after Holi i.e. from March 14. The maximum temperature may drop to 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to reach 14 degrees Celsius.

Increasing effect of heat in Delhi

Wednesday was recorded as the second hottest day of this year in Delhi, where the maximum temperature was 33.5 degrees Celsius, which was 4.6 degrees above normal. Earlier on Tuesday, the hottest day of this year so far was recorded, when the mercury reached 34.8 degrees Celsius, which was 6.4 degrees above normal.

Weather will change in Uttar Pradesh too

There is a possibility of change in the weather in Uttar Pradesh too. Rain has been predicted in many districts of the state today. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain for the next four days. At present, an alert has been issued for thunderstorms and strong winds in many districts including Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly.

Yellow alert issued in Rajasthan

A yellow alert has been issued in some areas of Rajasthan including Jhunjhunu, Churu, Sikar and Alwar. According to the Meteorological Department, surface winds can blow at a speed of 30-40 km per hour in these areas, along with thunder and light rain. The department has advised citizens to remain alert and take shelter in safe places.

Heat wave continues in Madhya Pradesh too

A steady increase in temperature is being seen in Madhya Pradesh. The mercury has been recorded above 39 degrees Celsius in many cities of the state. Ujjain remains the hottest city in the state with a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur is above 37 degrees. The effect of heat has intensified in Khajuraho, Narmadapuram, Ratlam and Mandla.
