In view of the decreasing cases of Coronavirus in the national capital Delhi, the Weekend Curfew in Delhi and the Odd-Even rule on shops have also been removed. Many important decisions were taken in the meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) held on Thursday. After the meeting, the weekend curfew has been abolished, but the night curfew will still continue.Restrictions on marriage ceremony reducedAlong with this, restrictions on wedding ceremonies have also been reduced in the DDMA meeting and a maximum of 200 guests have been allowed to attend. However, only a maximum of 200 people or 50 percent of the capacity will be able to attend the ceremony.Restaurants, bars and cinema halls will also openApart from restaurants, pubs and bars, cinema halls have also been allowed to open in the meeting. However, only 50 percent capacity will be allowed in bars, restaurants and cinema halls.Education institutes will remain closedIn the meeting of DDMA, it has been decided to open government offices in Delhi with 50 percent capacity. Apart from this, educational institutions and schools will still remain closed. The decision on opening the schools can be taken in the next meeting.Delhi government had given a proposal a week agoThe Delhi government had recommended relaxation in the restrictions imposed in Delhi a week ago (January 21), but Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal refused to accept it. Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal was not in favor of lifting the weekend curfew in Delhi and said that the status quo should remain till the situation of Kovid-19 improves further. The LG had said in the noting of the file that at present the weekend lockdown should not be removed and after the improvement in the situation of Kovid-19, the final decision on this subject will be taken in the DDMA meeting.Infection rate in Delhi 10.59 percentLet us inform that there has been a decrease in new cases of Coronavirus in Delhi and yesterday (26 January) 7498 new cases were registered in Delhi. The infection rate in Delhi has reached 10.59 percent. Earlier, 6028 new cases were reported on 25 January, 5760 on 24 January, 9197 on 23 January and 11486 on 22 January. At the same time, 10756 cases were reported in Delhi on 21 January, while 12306 cases were reported on 20 January.
