The last lunar eclipse of the year will start on November 08 from 05:20 in the evening and will last till 06.20 in the evening. Its sutak period will take 9 hours before the lunar eclipse.

In India, the last and second lunar eclipse of the year will also be visible in the country's capital Delhi including Guwahati, Ranchi, Patna, Siliguri and Kolkata. Due to the visible lunar eclipse in India, special care will have to be taken during this period.

The Sutak period of lunar eclipse starts from 9 hours before. Therefore, the Sutak period will start on November 08 at 09:21 in the morning.

Keep these things in mind during Sutak period-

1. According to religious beliefs, Sutak time is generally considered to be inauspicious time. It can be called a time in which auspicious work is prohibited. After the end of Sutak eclipse, religious places are re-sanctified.

2. Food should not be taken during Sutak. Water should not be consumed either. Before the eclipse, put some kusha and basil leaves in the vessel in which you keep drinking water.

3. Drinking water should be changed after the eclipse. It has also been proved by many scientific researches that the digestive power of a person becomes very relaxed during the eclipse. In such a situation, if contaminated food or water goes into their stomach, then their chances of getting sick increases.

4. During the lunar eclipse, pregnant women should especially avoid the shadow of the eclipse.
