Raigarh. A heart-wrenching incident in Maharashtra's Raigad district on Monday caused a sensation in the entire area. A woman living in Mahad tehsil of the district threw her 6 children into the well, due to which all the children died a painful death. It is being told that a woman named Runa had a fight with her husband Chikhuri Sahni. On this matter, at around 8 pm on Monday night, he pushed his 6 children into the well and dropped them. After that she herself jumped into the well.

When Runa was going to jump into the well, a person passing by her time saw her. The man made a noise and gathered the villagers. Runa was rescued somehow safely, but the innocent children could not be saved. By the time the news was written, the police had taken out the bodies of 4 children from the well, while the search for two was going on.

The youngest daughter was only one and a half years old

It is being told that Runa's husband was always drunk and used to beat her. On Monday too, Runa had a fight with her husband. Runa had five daughters and one son. The age of the eldest daughter is said to be 10 years, while the age of the youngest daughter was only one and a half years.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot along with the fire brigade and rescue teams. In view of the seriousness of the matter, Raigad Superintendent of Police Ashok Dudhe and Additional Superintendent of Police Atul Kumar Zende also reached the spot. The police have registered a case and started investigation to find out the exact cause of the incident.
