IPL Auction 2023 : The mini-auction of the next season (IPL-2023) of the world's richest T20 league IPL is to be held on 23 December. For this, around 1000 players have registered. There are 21 players with a base price of 2 crores in the list, which includes stalwarts like Ben Stokes and Kane Williamson. Most of the players to join the auction are from Australia. Let's look at those players who are in the 2 crore slab: -
Kane Williamson- New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has kept his base price at Rs 2 crore. Williamson recently took charge of New Zealand in the T20 World Cup-2022 and the team reached the semi-finals. He was also seen captaining in the series against India. He has so far scored a total of 2464 runs in 87 T20 Internationals, which includes 17 half-centuries.
Ben Stokes- Ben Stokes, one of the world's legendary all-rounders, is bound to be in the list of 2 crores. It is also believed that the team will bid a lot on them. Stokes, 31, has scored 3008 runs in 157 T20 matches overall and has taken 93 wickets.
Sam Karen- England's 24-year-old all-rounder Sam Karen is also included in the list of 2 crores. He has taken 41 wickets in T20 International cricket and scored a total of 158 runs in 35 matches. He has been a part of Chennai Super Kings in IPL.
Jason Holder - West Indies' tall all-rounder Jason Holder has played overall 200 T20 matches so far. His base price is also Rs 2 crore.
Nicholas Pooran - West Indies wicket-keeper batsman Nicholas Pooran also has a base price of Rs 2 crore. The 27-year-old Puran has been a part of three different teams in the IPL. He has scored a total of 4942 runs in overall 256 matches in T20 which includes one century and 27 half-centuries.
Angelo Mathews - Sri Lanka's 35-year-old all-rounder Angelo Mathews has also registered himself in the list with a slab of 2 crores. His overall record in T20 is very good and he has scored a total of 2788 runs in 173 matches with 11 half-centuries and has taken 85 wickets.
