For the past two days, three ruling party leaders in Japan have been walking around wearing an extremely heavy jacket. Wearing this jacket weighing 7.5 kg, they go to work, go shopping and also do household work. They get a chance to take off these jackets only during the plenary session.

Actually these politicians are trying to understand pregnancy with the help of these jackets. This experiment has been organized by a female politician named Takako Suzuki. With the help of this experiment, they want to help male politicians understand the problems and challenges of pregnancy.

Like other parts of the world, the workplace of pregnant women is not necessarily taken care of in Japan. A woman living in Osaka told Vice World News that she was very upset in the early stages of her pregnancy and thought that she would be missed. However, despite so much trouble, she could not muster the courage to take leave from her boss.

A Japanese leader named Masanobu Ogura wrote on Twitter that with the help of this experiment, I have been able to feel some of the hardships of pregnant women and we will try our best to help them overcome their problems.

In this case, career consultant Asako Nihara says that if the Japanese politicians do not make a new policy to support these women, then this experiment will be just like a performance and it will not make a significant difference in the situation of women.

In a conversation with Vice News, he said - There are many pregnant women in Japan who do not eat properly and they need better support. These government officials should not only take part in the use of pregnancy but they should also help women in every possible way.

In this case, a woman said that these jackets cannot be compared to pregnancy in any sense. However, I hope that after this experiment, leaders will come up with some policy that can talk about childcare, women careers, gender discrimination because we are behind many countries in this matter.
