Crime In Delhi / Youth stabbed to death to avenge slap, minor accused arrested

A youth was stabbed to death on Thursday in Adarsh ​​Nagar, North-West Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Monu Bahadur (25). Shortly after the murder, the police took three minors into custody on charges of murder.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that they had a fight with Monu on Wednesday. During this, a boy was slapped by Monu. To avenge this, he adopted her with a knife.

North-West District Deputy Commissioner of Police Usha Rangnani said that at 9 am on Thursday, information was received that a youth had been stabbed in Lal Bagh area. Police reached the spot. Monu was taken to the hospital in injured condition, where he was declared brought dead.

During the investigation, the police came to know that Monu, originally from Nepal, lived in Lal Bagh of Azadpur. He used to work in a private company. During interrogation, eyewitnesses told that he had a fight with some minor boys, after which the minors stabbed him. The police investigated through CCTV. After some time the accused three boys were apprehended.

Taekwondo international player shot

Taekwondo international player Ajay Dalal was shot in suspicious circumstances on Thursday morning. It was not clear who fired the bullet and from where. The player has been admitted to the hospital in injured condition, where his condition is stable. Nangloi police have registered a case and started investigation. Outer District DCP Sameer Sharma has confirmed the incident.

According to district police officials, a PCR call was made to the police by a youth on Thursday morning that his friend was shot near the banquet hall on Najafgarh-Nangloi road. After information, police reached the spot. The police came to know that Ajay Dalal (32) was shot in the stomach. Ajay, who lives in Kirari village, is an international player of Taekwondo. He is an instructor of Taekwondo in a school in Dwarka. Also they have a sports academy at Nangloi Extension. The weapon with which Ajay was shot has been illegally recovered. Police are probing how Ajay got shot.
